Viptronic C2000
This first worldwide 7-color densitometer with colorimetrical functions in "Handy Design" sets new standards of convencie, reliability and versatility.
As for every VIPTRONIC high-tech measuring device the company-philosophy "simply perfect, perfectly simple" becomes reality.
This multilingual, interactive Multicolordensitormeter with colorimetrical functions has an integrated instruction manual, which guides the user through all functions due to a 4-line LCD Display.
In the Automatic and Colorimetry modes there is no need to use a button as the function are recognised automatically by the measuring device.
The VIPDENS 2000 is all VIPTRONIC densitometers easy to use, resistant, allows a large number of measurement (over 300.000 measurements), has a small measuring time (< 0.4 seconds) and is universal because of the 7 colours Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue and Black; which means that it can be used also for special colours.
The integrated colorimetrical functions (CIE L*a*b*, CIE L*C*h°, CIExyY and ?E*ab) allow through the storage of up to 9 Reference colours the calibration of the visual evaluation of the print.
A serial RS232 interface has been integrated in the VIPDENS 2000 to allow direct connection to a printer or to Software programs.
Applied modern SMD technology, high-grade filters as well as the Vipdens optical system ensure a long life of the device.
COLORFLOW
Color management is a technology that helps you solve many of the problems associated with reproducing the same color on different devices, within different applications, and on different platforms.
Color management helps resolve the differences in colors that result when you reproduce the same color in different ways - that is, by moving color data among different devices, platforms, applications, materials, and processes. Adding color management to your workflow and adopting the International Color Consortium (ICC) industry-standard workflow helps to:
- Establish consist and predictable color throughout all parts of the color reproduction chain. By making color predictable, you'll need fewer remakes.
- Reduce material waste and time you spend on remakes. In large scale imaging operations, media waste and lost production time can result in tens and hundreds of dollars during a typical year.
- Establish standard operating procedures for color production to reduce color deviation caused by variation in techniques.
